Artist Painting Company is a residential and commercial painting company servicing the Mid-Hudson and NYC Area. We specialize in base paint, lime wash, murals, and custom hand-painted textures.

Artist Alison Causer founded APC in 2024, a few years after graduating from graduate school during the pandemic.She started freelancing in the high-end decorative painting and architecture restoration industry in NYC while continuing her fine art practice in her studio.

She quickly realized that the painting trade and the artist’s skills could be combined to truly benefit her clients, as well as a way to provide more jobs for talented artists. Learning about the high unemployment rates of artists in New York State post-pandemic confirmed her mission.

Mixing the painting trade with the skills of artists to help revitalize the artisan class in America one paint project at a time.
