Artist Painting Group is a painting company servicing the Mid-Hudson and NYC Area. We specialize in residential and commercial projects, focusing on base paint, lime wash, murals, and custom hand-painted textures.

Artist Alison Causer founded APG in 2023 after graduating from graduate school during the pandemic. She started working with the high-end decorative painting industry in NYC while continuing her fine art painting practice. She realized that the painting trade and the artist’s skills could be combined and beneficial for her clients, as well as a way to provide jobs for talented artist friends. She also learned about the high unemployment rates of artists in New York. Growing up in a union working-class family, her goal is to continue mixing the painting trade with the arts to contribute to rebuilding the artisan trade in America.
